ESCAFLOWNE | Yakusoku wa iranai | 27th Anniversary

kLEM ENtiNE's vocal cover of the song "Yakusoku wa iranai" (約束はいらない, lit. "I don't need promises") originally composed by Yoko Kanno, sung by Maaya Sakamoto and released on April 24, 1996 as Sakamoto's debut single for the anime "The Vision of Escaflowne" (天空のエスカフローネ, Hepburn: Tenkū no Esukafurōne, lit. Escaflowne of the Heavens).

Vocals, recordings, video, editing, makeup, costumes and just the right amount of tears and sweat produced by yours truly, as always 🐺 ✨

🎂 Happy 27th birthday, Escaflowne!

Just a quick vocal cover to celebrate the 27th anniversary of one of the most significant anime of my childhood - mostly from a musical point of view since its soundtrack is (yet again) by the almighty Yoko Kanno :)
